WORK ACTIVITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Strategy
  • Develop and implement a long-term plan for growth that delivers the organization’s expectation for revenue and profit growth.
  • Define the go-to-market strategy for current and new platforms including pricing, product selection, merchandising and content strategy.
  • Using consumer-based feedback, influence online and offline new product development and product modifications that build out a more robust product catalog for eCommerce success.
  • Build brand awareness by identifying content opportunities. Build and manage tests for optimal performance.
  • Providing creative direction as it relates to Ecommerce content and develop promotions/partnerships.
  • Constantly seek out opportunities for new business development including new platforms and pathways to business growth.
  • The ideal candidate would have high level experience in digital marketing including SEO/SEM.
  • Track, advise strategy, and implement direction concerning 3rd party sellers on all open market platforms.
Business Management
  • Analyze data (consumer, customer, and financial) to assess business performance and report to leadership.
  • Work with cross functional team to solve business challenges related to overall eCommerce success.
  • Manage the company’s compliance and scorecards with eCommerce customers to ensure high service levels and reduction of chargebacks.
  • Provide revenue forecasts to Operations to ensure inventory needs are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant studies or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years related experience in eCommerce, content management, digital marketing, or consumer goods marketing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in MS Excel and Word, reporting, and forecasting.
  • High degree of knowledge of common eCommerce platforms & marketing tools.
  • Direct supervisory experience.
  • A current and valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel 10% of the time.
