Experienced Heavy Equipment Technician (East Tennessee Mines)

Key Accountabilities 

• Adhere to all MSHA regulatory and company standards 

• Must have a Safety-First mindset; leading the way to a safe work environment  

• Promote and assist in maintaining a positive work culture  

• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities  

• Perform troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on underground mobile equipment including loaders (LHDs), haul trucks, bolters, and utility vehicles.  

• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and service life. 

• Repair and replace hoses, belts, fittings, filters, wear components, lightings, and other service items.  

• Assist with basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical diagnosis  

• Properly use hand tools, pneumatic tools, diagnostic tools, and shop equipment.  

• Complete pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is safe for underground operation.  

Qualifications 

• 2 years Heavy Equipment Mechanical Experience
