Aquatics Fitness Instructor (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR) (Boca Raton, FL)
Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking passionate Aquatic Group Fitness Instructors (Contract) to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead members, in a water-based environment, through a format of exercises designed to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance, while ensuring that the safety of the members is not compromised.
Candidates may be required to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Great for those seeking a flexible schedule!
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Lead group fitness classes in a water-based environment.
- Instruct participants on proper body mechanics and form during exercises to ensure safety.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective workouts.
- Design and implement fitness programs tailored to the needs of individual clients, including modifications and enhancements.
- All duties are to be performed in accordance with Woodfield Boca Raton departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience as an Aquatics Group Instructor required
- Current Aquatics Fitness Instructor certification
- Current CPR & first aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different age groups and skill levels
- Experience in organizing and leading group activities
- Deep knowledge of water safety practices and regulations
