Facility Description:
Thornberry Creek at Oneida is located in Oneida, WI.  Nestled atop one of the highest peaks in Brown County and located just outside of Green Bay, Thornberry Creek at Oneida offers 27 holes of championship golf at its finest. An abundance of vistas and amenities will excite golfers and guests of all ages and abilities.
 
The two golf courses – both designed by Rick Jacobson – feature bent grass tees, fairways, and greens, and the varied landscape gives golfers a unique experience from hole to hole, from a forested “Northwoods” type setting at the start and finish of the Legends Course, to the prairie or meadow type environment in the middle holes as you play your way through one of Green Bay’s most prestigious neighborhoods.
 
Other amenities of the facility include a spacious and comfortable Sports Pub & Grill, meeting rooms, and several banquet facilities including The Hawks Crest ballroom that can be configured in multiple layouts, from an intimate space for groups under 50 to an extravagant ballroom for up to 300 guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare for opening/closing according to Company procedures including inspection for adequate supplies, procuring additional supplies as necessary, and preparing garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
  • Greet guests as they enter the bar area.
  • Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to approved recipes.
  • Collect checks/payment for drinks served.
  • Report complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
  • Maintain and clean bar equipment.
  • Maintain records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
  • Maintain daily inventory and records showing which drinks and liquors are in the greatest demand.  Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required reports.
  • Lock-up and store alcohol, beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank according to Company procedures
  • Perform other duties as directed.
  • Work within a team environment

Education/Qualifications/Certifications
  • High school/GED preferred.
  • Bartending experience required.
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
  • Ability to obtain local municipality Operators License for bartending within 30 days of employment.
Priority given to those willing to cross-train and work in multiple areas of the facility (banquet, on-course beverage service, golf services, etc.)
