Alvest Equipment Services (AES), a newly formed company within the ALVEST Group (world leader of airport ground support equipment “GSE”), offers a complete range of services dedicated to the GSE industry, such as rentals, long term maintenance contracts, and overhaul services.

The company is expanding fast in the US market, capitalizing on the strong foothold of the ALVEST Group, and is seeking to hire a Sales Administrator, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, in order to support the increasing activity.

Main duties will cover:
  • Sales order processing, including entry in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (“CMMS”)
  • Internal purchase order processing (purchase of new or second hand equipment, purchase of parts)
  • Management of transportation and deliveries for rental equipment, including negotiation and relationship with freight forwarders and carriers
  • Management, with our brokers, of custom duties and import / export documentation including bill of lading, certificates of origins etc.)
  • Follow-up of orders and invoicing, including payment terms and customer credit
  • Relationship with customers related to invoicing and other commercial matters and with suppliers
  • Generally, support the sales and operations and the Finance team
  • Participate actively in the CMMS operations and continuous improvement
  • Periodical reporting (activity reports, orders, invoicing, backlog, statistics…)

Expected profile:
  • 5-year previous related experience including in particular transportation & custom management
  • Knowledge of computerized system and ERPs
  • Excel and Microsoft Office suite proficiency
  • Autonomous, very pro-active, team player and ready to embrace an exciting and demanding start-up activity

You will report to the Finance Controller of AES USA. Though you will be dedicated to AES USA, you will benefit from the knowledge of the ALVEST USA sister companies’ sales administration teams with whom you will work very closely.
