POSITION: Hostess - Gianni’s Restaurant (Miami Beach)
About the Position
Gianni’s Restaurant at The Villa Casa Casuarina is seeking a professional, polished, and guest-focused Hostess to be the welcoming face of our iconic luxury dining destination. The Hostess plays a key role in creating exceptional first impressions by greeting guests warmly, managing reservations, and coordinating seating to ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations using the restaurant’s booking system and maintain accurate waitlists.
- Coordinate guest seating with servers and management to ensure smooth table flow and optimal service.
- Escort guests to their tables while presenting menus and explaining any specials or events when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing host stand and entrance area.
- Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional guest service.
- Accommodate special requests when possible, including celebrations, VIP guests, and dietary needs.
- Monitor dining room activity and assist in managing wait times during peak hours.
- Uphold the restaurant’s standards of luxury hospitality and professionalism at all times.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant environment.
- Standing for extended periods and interacting continuously with guests.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional.
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
