POSITION:      Hotel Maintenance Engineer                           DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
REPORTS TO:  Director of Engineering
Job Summary: Villa Casa Casuarina is an iconic luxury hospitality destination known for its historic architecture, refined service, and world-class guest experience. Maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of this landmark property is essential to our brand and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to protect the historic integrity of the property
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and hotel standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders
  • Assist with special projects, renovations, and inspections as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing
  • Attention to detail with respect for historic architecture and finishes
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
