Bartender - JAYA (Miami Beach)

The Bartender is responsible for delivering an exceptional, refined beverage experience to guests while upholding the highest standards of luxury service. This role requires advanced mixology skills, deep product knowledge, and a polished, professional presence consistent with a world-class hospitality environment.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Bartender in a luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or high-end cocktail bar

• Proven experience in high-volume, luxury service environments

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, craft mixology, premium spirits, wine, sake, and beer

• Experience in Forbes-rated or Michelin-recognized venues strongly preferred

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to luxury standards

• Execute classic and signature cocktails with consistency, precision, and presentation excellence

• Engage with guests in a professional, warm, and discreet manner

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times

• Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service

• Accurately process orders and handle cash and POS transactions

• Maintain deep knowledge of the beverage menu, ingredients, and flavor profiles

• Collaborate with Barbacks and management to ensure smooth service flow

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• Comply with all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws

• Uphold Forbes service standards and internal brand expectations

  All Bartenders must comply with The Setai grooming standards, as they are guest-facing ambassadors of the brand:

• Hair must be neatly groomed, clean, and styled conservatively

  • Long hair must be secured and tied back

• Facial hair must be clean-shaven or neatly trimmed and maintained daily

• Nails must be short, clean, and clear, neutral, or dark red only

  • No nail designs or excessive length

• Makeup (if worn) must be natural and understated

• Jewelry must be minimal and professional

• No visible tattoos unless approved and compliant with company policy

• Uniform must be clean, pressed, and properly fitted at all times

• Shoes must be plain black, polished, slip-resistant

• Personal hygiene must meet luxury hospitality standards at all times
