Job Responsibilities

Ensure all employees are fully conversant with menus and are able to explain to guests in detail each menu item in detail if required.
Ensure all employees are able to make recommendations to guests for menu and beverage selection.
Recruit and train employees in accordance with hotel guidelines.
Ensure all employees are well groomed and in the correct uniform.
Effectively manage employees ensuring that the operation of In Room Dining meets hotel operating standards.
Regularly review the performance of employees in accordance with hotel guidelines.
Review room service sales versus forecast and report on any variances.
Remain up to date with local and international restaurant trends.
Work closely with other departments ensuring communication flows effectively.
In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Director.

The hotel is not able to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents. This position does not offer a relocation package.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years experience in a Food & Beverage position in a luxury hotel environment; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of international cuisine and dining trends.
