We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based in Encinitas, CA and managing field locations in the Coastal and North County San Diego areas. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer. Role Responsibilities:

The Senior Project Manager will report to the COO and will be responsible for scheduling, managing trades and subcontractors, managing materials and supplies, overseeing site safety and procedures, and ensuring finishing details are up to company standards.

  • Have very strong knowledge of all trades 

  • Manage/oversee all projects 

  • Mapping out of schedules with GM 

  • Scheduling of all employees daily 

  • Assist in maintaining bid room/bid schedules with PC and GM 

  • Forecasting and coordinating with upcoming trades to start every week 

  • Communications and coordination with clients, Subcontractors and Venders 

  • Read and understand plans accurately 

  • Oversee ordering, pick-up and delivery of materials and supplies 

  • Ability to measure and order materials and supplies accurately 

  • Understand and practice safety at all times while at work 

  • Update photos and job logs from job sites being worked on to CoConstruct daily 

  • Participate in at least (2) production meetings with GM and PC per week. 

  • Participate in at least (1) general company meeting with CEO and GM per week. 

  • Communicate with GM daily with job site status updates 

  • Report any issues that arise to GM or CEO 

  • Provide information to GM on any change orders that come up and assist in pricing out 

  • Safely lock up job sites and protect property, tools and materials 

  • Make sure job sites stay clean 

  • Have a clean image and maintain clean company vehicle 

  • Oversee and have an eye for finish details on last 10% of job/punchlists and mapping out plan to completion

  • Employee disciplinary write-ups 

  • Assist in client meetings with CEO and GM 

  • Assist GM with any warranty work 

  • Preconstruction job walks 

  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the field 

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • Construction knowledge and leadership experience, required.

  • Experience with scheduling and materials management

  • Experience in design-build for both remodel and new construction preferred

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively identify and respond to shifting priorities

  • Problem analysis and conflict resolution at both a strategic and functional level

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Strong desire to provide top quality projects and customer service
