The Position:  AM Pierce & Associates is in search for candidates who will be providing mainly program ops and some acquisition support to our government customers in Patuxent River, MD.

The Description:
  • Support PMA-280 WCS in the planning, acquisition, and reporting of WCS activities including Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) Hardware & Software development, Surface Platform Integration, and Submarine Platform Integration. 
  • Support the development and definition of the acquisition strategy, program baseline, cost model definition, and support reporting for current and future TTWCS programs and versions.
  • Establish and maintain data management functions for the WCS IPT. 
  • Capture and track WCS IPT action items.  Support the resolution and reporting on actions.
  • Support yearly POM submission by capturing inputs, creating packages, and updating the flight plans for TTWCS activities. 
  • Update and deliver various reports, to include the following as a minimum:
    • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes and track issues and action items as required.
    • Prepare and maintain documentation for the PMA-280 Risk Management Board / Joint Risk Management Board.
    • Prepare and maintain priorities, issues and watch items for the WCS IPT Leadership Team.
    • Prepare and maintain briefing materials, project/program plans, acquisition documentation and IMS/IGS IPT level schedules.
    • Support update of PMT and keep a dashboard on all contracts.  Support various contracting support activities.
    • Prepare monthly execution status on all products and funding.
The successful candidate will have the education and experience below:
  • BA or BS with a degree in a business, management, or an engineering discipline.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in PPBE support for program management, technical and business analysis related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management.  Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PP, Project) and ability to generate briefing packages and documents from a variety of sources and tools. 
An Active DoD Secret clearance is required.

The Working Environment:  The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for the majority of the workday.  The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.
