 The Position: We are searching for candidates who have experience supporting change management, strategic communications, business process reengineering, or financial management systems implementation initiatives to the Federal Government or Fortune 500 company or experience providing subject matter expertise for acquisition, logistics, asset management, or financial management to the Federal Government or Fortune 500 company. This work would be to support  the Navy meeting the following goals: (1) Rigorously executing the budget; pursuing budgetary reform seeking greater execution effectiveness and transparency, while reducing reimbursable work; (2) Continuing full scope audits with full transparency; prioritizing and remediating findings, strengthening internal controls and improving the accuracy of financial reports; and (3) Consolidating and reducing feeder and general ledger systems into a modernized Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system employing standard business processes.
 
The Locations: Washington, DC and Northern Virginia
 
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited United States college or university in a field of study relevant to his/her professional role including Business, Public Policy, English, Communications, or Political Science.
 

DOD clearance required.
 
The Working Environment: The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.  The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.
