The Position:   We are in search of a candidate who will be providing support to the Navy’s MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) program’s Integrated  Test Team (ITT).  The candidate will be responsible for Diagnostics BIT performance assessment and coverage of failure modes, initial design and operational assessments, sensor/parameter coverage to support fault disposition and trending candidates, identification of trending and prognostics candidates, maintainer user interface design and assessment, deficiency reporting, technical data input/update for fault isolation and troubleshooting, reliability and maintainability integration metric reporting for coverage (fault detection, isolation and false alarms) and availability and readiness impacts/opportunities.

Qualifications:

Degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering.  Will accept Electrical Engineering degree, as well.
A background in engineering or engineering support is a must.
Experience with diagnostics, fault isolation, troubleshooting, identification of BIT (Built in Test) related deficiencies, and maintenance user interface tools.
8-12 years of maintenance experience, preferably across multiple disciplines (vehicles, mission or payloads, and off board control and support systems) or 4-8 years of fleet engineering support.
1-2 years of acquisition experience is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).



The Working Environment:  The physical environment requires the employee to work on-site at the government program office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for the majority of the workday.  The employee may be required to walk short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.  In some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site.  In rare occasions, travel may be required.
