Our Drivers are one of the most critical roles in our day-to-day operation, with a primary function based around safe delivery of products and materials to customers’ plants and work sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Maintaining and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.
  • Obey applicable laws, follow dispatch instructions, and GreenRoad system.
  • Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
  • Load and unload materials as dispatched.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly condition of trucks and equipment.
  • Perform minor servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
  • Assist in training less–experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing and repair of equipment to further their abilities.
  • Perform general labor duties when necessary; and other duties as assigned.
  • Strict adherence to company Safety Practices & Procedures, as well as general policies and procedures as outlined in both the safety handbook and employee handbook.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to gain, uphold and maintain DOT requirements to include Medical Clearance.

Minimum Requirements: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Minimum of two years driving experience Class A or B – CDL required with company acceptable driving record.
  • Pass and maintain DOT employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Pass and maintain a pre-employment Functional Capacity / Fit for Duty exam.
  • Dump Trailer experience, a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel on occasion.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Punctuality and timeliness.
  • Willingness and ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of operations based on OSHA and/or MSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
