Essential Functions
  • Maintains and develops firm relationships with prospective and existing American Materials Company customers;
  • Expands customer sales to a broader base of customers;
  • Maintains data on regular basis pertaining to calls, quotes, and all other actions, as well as preparing regular reports as required by American Materials Company;
  • Develops sales and market projections, and monitors selling and pricing structure of materials to ensure maximum profits;
  • Communicates and works with operations to ensure productivity and availability of products;
  • May participate in budget preparation, month-end reporting and review of billing process;
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

  • Negotiating, analytical and organizational skills are essential.
  • Must be an effective communicator and have the ability to deal with a diverse group of people, both externally and internally.
  • Must possess knowledge of business and organization practices.
  • Must possess persuasive selling skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing theory and practices.
  • Knowledge of construction aggregate industry.
  • Knowledge of basic financial practices and economics of the business.
  • Be results-oriented.
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
