This position will be several safety minded, qualified and self-motivated. The candidate will work as an entry-level technician in the QC division.  The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting with duties within the lab and in the field which include, but may not be limited to: gathering samples of material for testing, conducting tests, and monitor density.  Experience in aggregate testing is preferred.

This position helps manage the quality control program
  • Performs all tests and evaluations to ensure end product meets all specifications.
  • Performs all tests and evaluation on purchased material to ensure the product meets specified quality specifications.
  • Facilitates Quality Control Training for all employees.
  • Assists in solving Quality Control related problems.
  • Maintains good relations with State Employees to enhance our reputation with the department.
  • Oversees all QC testing to ensure compliance with customer standards and specifications.
  • Holds regular meetings to review performance and communicate problems, successes, and effective approaches to improve performance of work processes.
  • Supports Company’s commitment to enrich the communities in which we work and live.
  • Make decisions based on reliable data and facts pertaining to customers, and processes.
  • Analyzes and use data information to drive performance improvement.
  • Seeks feedback from employer and peers, and takes steps to improve own performance.
  • Ensures safety policies, procedures, and regulations while identifying and correcting safety problems to maintain a safe working environment.

  • High School and Industry related courses.
  • Familiarity with basic statistics, communications, problem solving and basic
  • PC skills.
  • Five years in the Quality Control field.
  • Two years college with emphasis on Statistics and Math.
  • Proficient with statistics, communications, problem solving and advanced
  • PC skills.
  • Ten years in the QC field including three years in a supervisory capacity.
