This position is responsible for ensuring the timely and organized coordination of materials as managed by Power & Construction Group for Avangrid.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages the inventory for all Logistics’ Customer materials on the Power & Construction Group property.
- Coordinates with lead workers & contractors to address any special needs or concerns as well as delivery requirements.
- Communicates with management by providing information and statistics on the status of materials.
- Balances inventory inbound as well as outbound.
- Communicates ordering needs to customer in accordance with the materials required as defined in Engineering Bill of Material documents.
- Examines the materials to ensure that a high quality of materials are onsite and available as needed.
FINANCIAL/ADMINISTRATIVE:
- Manages and assists with budget development.
- Maintains up-to-date records and paperwork.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED and a minimum of five (5) years of experience with electric utility construction.
- Valid NYS driver’s license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 pounds or more).
- Stamina to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Good vision, including close-up and peripheral vision, for detailed inspections.
- Hearing ability to diagnose engine and equipment noises.
