Job Overview: CP Ward is seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate and manage project activities from initiation to completion.
  2. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Schedule Management: Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  8. Client Communication: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns and providing regular project updates.
  9. Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in construction project management is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices.
