Residential HVAC Service Technician

COMPANY OVERVIEW: An established HVAC company, made up of highly skilled, capable individuals are looking for HVAC technicians to add to their growing team!


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Servicing of HVAC systems in residential settings
  • Ability to service heat pumps, gas fired forced air systems, hydronic heating systems
  • Follow proper protocols as indicated by different manufacturer installation instructions
  • Desire to move into commercial HVAC through on-the-job training and course work
  • Use of computer, using service data programs

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Willingness to take industry recognized testing in:
    • Gas fired, forced air and boiler systems
    • Controls
    • Refrigeration Circuitry
  • Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Three years’ residential HVAC experience preferred
  • Knowledge of tools and process of air distribution and piping
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clean and valid NYS drivers’ license required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Ability to work outside, from heights and frequent lifting

COMPENSATION:
  • $48,000-$69,000 per year based on experience
