Job Title: Entry Level Commercial/Industrial Electrician
Reports to: Project Manager
Compensation: $20-$30/hr plus prevailing wage opportunities
Power & Construction Group (P&CG) is seeking an Entry Level Commercial/Industrial Electrician to join our team in the Commercial/Industrial Electrical Division!
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Electricians will collaborate with a Master Electrician to repair and install electric services for commercial customers throughout Western New York.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of two years of electrical experience in a commercial/industrial setting.
- CDL is a plus.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency working with hands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team player.
- OSHA 10 certification.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, including extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
- Considerable physical activity requiring heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 pounds or more).
- Stamina to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Good vision, including close-up and peripheral vision, for detailed inspections.
- Hearing ability to diagnose engine and equipment noises.
