Join our Team of Employee Owners as a Warehouse Assistant Manager!

We are looking for a qualified Warehouse Assistant Manager with strong organizational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a working manager, full-time position with a 40-hour work week, 9-5:30 Monday-Friday, first shift only.

Responsibilities Include:
Ensure accurate and timely shipping: assist the team with and oversee preparing orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and staging orders.

  • Operational Tasks: Manage 3-4 warehouse associates, monitoring work, coordinating training, and ensuring safety is the top priority

  • Inventory Control: Accurate and timely receiving of inventory and support for inventory control

  • Service and Compliance: Following quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Innovation: Recommend improved methods, tools, fixtures, equipment, or layout changes to improve workflow, productivity, enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.

  • Mentorship: Providing mentorship and feedback to employees within the warehouse to help them further their careers.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to ensure the following of quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds in weight, and be on your feet for several hours at a time

  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, first shift hours.

  • Knowledge of standard computer programs, and comfortable with computers and tablets

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Willingness and ability to occasionally travel domestically for training and company events

  • Existing forklift certification, or ability to obtain one within 90 days of job entry date, paid by the company.
