We are an employee-owned company with a team-oriented, fast-paced, and professionally casual work environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive and flexible purchasing coordinator that enjoys working as a team.

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will ensure product availability for our customers by maintaining the inventory at optimal levels, costs, and quality. Major job responsibilities include building and strengthening relationships of mutual trust and adherence to company standards with vendors, maintaining proper inventory levels of products and supplies across the company's multiple locations, and acting as a liaison between vendors, logistics partners, and the rest of the company. Along with proactively engaging with logistics partners to ensure timely transports to vendors and warehouses and working in partnership with technology to assist in daily operations.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (writing formulas) and Great Plains
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience as a purchasing coordinator or in a similar position
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 5 times a year
