Located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with over $135 million in assets, Horizon Federal Credit Union has a newly created opening for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will analyze existing programs, methods, policies, and technologies, suggest improvements to improve financial well-being service levels, and meet key credit union objectives.

The incoming manager will inspire, motivate, and train the team while promoting a highly engaged, knowledgeable, and people-centric departmental culture. This individual will provide high-level assistance to the Chief Financial Information Officer (CIFO) while ensuring financial soundness within the credit union. Additionally, the manager will oversee the Accounting, Finance, and Compliance functions and manage income statements balance sheets of the credit union and credit union-owned companies.

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in accounting or finance. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and documents, periodicals, journals, reference resources, and training and policy manuals. A minimum of three to five years' experience within a financial institution as an alternative to progressive leadership.
