San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU), located in San Diego, California, has created a new opportunity for an Executive Vice President, Retail Operations, to join their Executive Management Team!  

With over $10 billion in assets, the incoming leader will be responsible for developing the Branch and Investment Services area to include operations, personnel, financial performance, growth, and alignment with SDCCU’s corporate goals and strategies.  

Reporting to the President/Chief Executive Officer, the incoming executive will ensure all areas of responsibility have a strong focus on internal and external member service.  Driving improved metrics related to the Net Promotor Score, internal service surveys, departmental turnover, and employee engagement is an integral component of success for the new leader.

This individual will be a strategic partner and contribute to developing and implementing the Credit Union’s strategic and corporate plans, proactively identifying areas of challenge and opportunities, presenting realistic strategic and operational-level recommendations to the President/Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Team.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minimum of 18 semester hours in accounting, finance, business operations management, and/or economics or a related degree is required.  A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a management position within a retail financial institution with demonstrated and sustained ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manner driving strategic organizational success.  Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant state and federal laws and regulations applicable to the financial service industry is needed.
