Located in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU), with over $8.6 billion in assets, is seeking a fundamental, communicative contributor as the incoming Consumer Lending Manager who will be the driving force in leading a digital transformation, reinventing processes, thereby, creating a seamless member experience.
The ideal candidate will bring an innovative approach to lending, has experience embracing technology and partnering with various high performing Fintech companies and creating efficient / effective processes with internal and external partnerships. He/she will provide leadership and strategic oversight to the overall operations of the Consumer Lending Division, with a specialized focus in direct and indirect consumer underwriting, loan processing, and adapting to the needs of the existing and future members of DCU.
Reporting to the Vice President of Consumer Lending, this individual will manage a large team providing direct oversight in staff performance, management of departmental objectives, leading division technology and process re-engineering efforts, partnering with various stakeholder groups across the organization.
A Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required, plus a minimum of five years’ management and consumer lending expertise is essential in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative style of leadership is needed.
