DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train, supervise and counsel staff when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining operational hours as scheduled by the Maintenance Manager and the Resort General Manager.
- Provide back up during Maintenance / Campground staff shortage.
- Assist in training of all Maintenance personnel and new employees.
- Process work orders, purchase orders and invoices for shipping and receiving.
- Complete the coding and reconciliation to update the control systems by category and departments.
- Assigning work assignments and work orders, with opening and closing requested work.
- Document all emails, phone calls, pictures and information to help build history of our work and repairs.
- Update and inventory all required spare parts and repairs on tools and equipment to ensure maintenance program accuracy.
- Schedule work assignments with parts needed for the job.
- Compile and generate periodic reports.
- Assist Maintenance Manager in preparing reports and ordering of merchandise.
- Maintain back office equipment, to include backing up and contacting software support when assistance is needed.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
- Willing to work any shift as needed to ensure the operation of the Maintenance Campground department.
- Type a minimum of 45 wpm.
- Ideal candidate/employee will have excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
- Must have prior experience working with Maintenance programs and have a good understanding of basic math.
- Must have prior experience in inventory control interfacing with multiple systems.
- Must have 3 to 5 years of prior experience working in a Maintenance environment.
- High School diploma or GED required.
