CAGE CASHIER JOB DESCRIPTION

REPORTS TO:         CAGE MANAGER

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be age 21 or older
  • Cannot be convicted of a felony
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 2 yrs. college and/or cage bank teller experience
  • Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace (English)
  • Requires bending, finger dexterity, grasping, standing, and/or walking for periods of up to four hours with no break
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift 40 pounds
  • Must not be color blind
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must qualify for a gaming license

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform transactions adequately and in accordance with Casino procedures
  • Cashier is responsible for a float (bank) that must be always kept in balance
  • Cash customer checks, redeems slot machine tickets, cash chips, process Cash Club withdrawals.
  • Ensure cash drawers are balanced to the appropriate impressed amount at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Exchange assets with the vault
  • Keep drawer stocked with cash, chips, tokens, etc., throughout current shift and for the following shift
  • Complete all necessary paperwork; count sheet, exchange sheets, MTL’s and CTR’s
  • Cashier is responsible for the security of the cage and will prevent access by an unauthorized person and for all aspects of cashiering throughout the shift, in a safe and responsible manner
  • Able to work in an extremely important environment with emphasis on accuracy
  • Keeps work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter
  • Must work well with another cashier in a close environment
  • Be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights
  • Other duties as assigned
COUNT TEAM ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Count Team Attendant must be able to work both independently and in a team environment to collect, verify and process revenue from all outlets of the casino and hotel under strict regulations and controls.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Above average money handling skills required
  • Computer skills (experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and CMS) and 10 key experiences required
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the daily clearance of slot machines, table games, and ATM machines
  • Wrapping of coins and soft count in an efficient and secure manner in accordance with MICS and the policies and procedures of the Casino
  • Responsible for clearing all slot machines and tables according to established procedures
  • Ensure that the counting and wrapping machine equipment is in working order and attend to paper jams where necessary and assuming joint responsibility for the assets accounted for during the count until it has been signed over
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
  • All duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work within a confined area
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend or stoop for long periods of time throughout the shift
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time throughout the shift
  • Use equipment and systems requiring concentration and attention to detail
  • Must be able to move from one task to another and maintain a steady pace
  • Ability to see color, cannot be colorblind
