Director of Payer Network Development

What You Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in sales management
  • A minimum of 3-5 years professional sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Must be a credible leader and possess the knowledge and sales skills to engage with clinical and business executives at health plans, providers, and ACOs
  • Demonstrate history of developing new partnerships regionally and nationally
  • Knowledge of business management and a working knowledge of the Medicare, Medicaid and commercially managed care.  Medicare Hospice Benefit preferred

What You Will Do
  • Support operational and strategic efforts to build and grow Heart to Heart contracted relationships with the health plan marketplace
  • Support Heart to Heart’s value-based go-to-market strategies
  • Contract with payers Medicaid and commercial managed care.  This includes communicating information changes and re-credentialing periodically
  • Generate new business and sales leads through a mixture of lead generation, networking, marketing campaign follow-up, and inbound inquiries
  • Support and drive RFPs for health plans and providers
  • Understand Payer and Health Plan (target customer’s) business needs, leveraging consultative skill-set in order to initiate, develop, and maintain strong executive and decision maker-level relationships
