What You Will Do:
The Triage Nurse will be considered the manager on duty responsible for all decision making and problem solving for the agency during non-business hours. This person will be responsible for providing telephonic triage coverage and coordinating all patient visits as needed including all hospice, death, and admission visits. The Triage Nurse will be responsible for communication with physicians, hospital staff, patients and their family members. Additionally, the Triage Nurse will keep the agency Executive Director and Patient Care Managers informed as needed.
What You Must Have:
Registered Nurse licensed in the state where you work
Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Insurance
Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting preferably hospice or home health; telephonic triage experience preferred
