Community Liaison


What You Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in sales management
  • Current State Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance
  • 3-5 years professional sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated history of developing sales and growth
  • Knowledge of business management and a working knowledge of the Medicare Hospice Benefit preferred
  • Experience with EMR/Customer Relationship software is a plus
  • Must have an outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills along with a strong executive presence

What You Will Do:
  •  Call on physicians, multiple facility types such as hospitals, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, discharge planning, assisted living or other senior living settings within an assigned territory to open new accounts, develop existing relationships and promote hospice referrals and community resources
  • Develop and implement territory business plans and manages sales time and resources according to plan, adjusting as necessary in order to satisfactorily complete the plan and meet established goals
  • Utilize customer relationship management tool, RSL, and other tools provided to effectively manage accounts and performance
  • Interact with internal/external customers with the highest level of integrity
  • Promote positive, respectful communication to all staff, referral sources, patients and families
  • Responsible for identifying problems or dissatisfaction with patient and/or family and ensuring quick resolution while communicating effectively to clinical team and management if necessary.
  • Coordinate and provide in-services or educational events for family members and/or facilities
  • Work closely with agency leadership to meet growth and development targets
  • Assist and perform explanation of hospice services and documentation
  • Flexibility in work schedule as referral source, patients and families may require after hours and weekend consultations
  • Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
