POSITION TITLE:  Cyber Store Business Manager
STATUS:                Exempt

This position has a starting pay of $54,080 per year.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOBThe Cyber Store Business Manager is responsible for managing all business functions of the department. As a Goodwill department head the supervision and professional development of the cyber team is as critical as the oversight of all online sales platforms, developing production and financial goals, working collaboratively with all stakeholders such as RTC Managers and Third Party providers, and preparation of financial reporting. Duties include, but are not limited to, analyzing areas of improvement, development of new platforms, managing relationships with customers and vendors, overseeing acceptance and processing of collectible donations, addressing returns, ensuring accurate and timely shelving and shipping of orders.  All managers in Goodwill Donated Goods program also participate in recurring management development activities.

PROVIDES SUPERVISION TOCyber department staff and in partnership with the Director of Retail, third party providers as appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee all facets of cyber business.
  • Selection and management of team members through necessary recruitments, scheduling, training, evaluations, and counseling of associates.
  • Maintain a team oriented environment.
  • Ensure appropriate professional development of cyber team
  • Manage cyber team within Goodwill guiding principles
  • Create department standards, holding staff and stakeholders accountable
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service, resolving all customer issues in a satisfactory and timely manner.
  • Drive sales through team development and achievement of production goals
  • Create and uphold training standards for stakeholders
  • Financial management of department budget including ensuring that all reporting of sales and production data is delivered timely to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Handle all aspects of department payroll through submission, including resolving departmental payroll issues.
  • Monitor and ensure appropriate supply inventory
  • Understand, improve and manage all systems for online sales and shipping.
  • Analyze sales and production reports, taking appropriate action as necessary
  • Create and implement effective communication with RTCs to maximize value of donated goods
  • Ensure that all department administrative functions are carried out timely and efficiently
  • Ensuring that safety standards are met
  • Manage the front-end website experience, category strategy, landing pages, product assortment, pricing and overall merchandising mix
  • Track and evaluate site user behavior; make recommendations to improve user experience/usability and sales conversion.
  • Identifies opportunities for new marketing tactics, technologies, site-conversion functionality and improved user experiences
  • Regularly reports on performance compared to goals to senior management

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma required; advanced education preferred with a Bachelor’s degree in Business ideal
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated management experience in a sales environment required
  • Strong interpersonal skills leading to exceptional customer service and strong communication
  • Excellent computer and internet skills, including rapid and accurate keyboarding
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel
  • Superior organizational and general administrative skills
  • Developed leadership skills resulting in strong ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and fluently
  • Ability to figure percentages and perform simple math computations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Exposure to low level noise. Temperate climate. Overhead lighting. Occasional in person interaction with the general public. May be exposed to moderate levels of dust.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Continuous standing, sitting, bending, stooping, stretching, bending, twisting, walking with mobility throughout work space. Continuous simple grasping. Frequent to continuous fine finger movement to operate computer. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Continuous speech and visual skills required.
