Qualifications:
- Must be available to work on weekends
- Minimum of one year in Customer Service/Sales experience
- Excellent credit history is required
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Computer literate (Excel, Outlook, Word, Craigslist ads & Yardi is a plus)
- Must demonstrate a professional appearance and a great attitude
- Demonstrate good leadership skills
- Experience in serving notices, eviction process, rent collection (preferred but not required)
- Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws (preferred but not required)
- Must have reliable means of transportation
- Must have a sense of humor
Responsibilities:
- Take part in outreach marketing activities on a regular basis to obtain prospect residents
- Advertise vacancies through promoting materials and conduct market surveys as requested
- Present and lease apartment units to prospective lessors
- Receive all telephone calls and in-person visits
- Listen to resident requests, concerns, comments and report to appropriate departments
- Cover for management staff absences and overall property management assistance
- Develop and maintain high level of customer service relationships with prospects and residents
- Report all unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
- Assist managers in collecting rent, balance dues and outstanding paperwork
- Accurately prepare and be thoroughly knowledgeable with all lease-related paperwork
- Ensure the community is pleasing to all 5 senses and impeccably clean
- Monitor outstanding work orders and constantly communicate with maintenance staff
- Stay fully informed of current rental rates, floorplans, locations and all amenities of the property
Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay : $19.00 - $21.00 hourly
