Your Next Calling:
Cintra is looking for a Business Process Specialist to join the Toll Operations Department of Cintra US and support establish organizational resources and structures, policies, procedures, reporting criteria (KPIs) and OPEX/CAPEX models, relating to the organizational development of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and the toll operation function within Cintra US.
 
Functions Key to Success:
  • Produces and coordinates with the Technical and Business departments of Cintra US the cost model and risk profile to be considered when tendering for new concessions and ensures that they are aligned with the particular conditions of every project. 
  • Defines, reviews, coordinates and publish policies and procedures about the topics listed herewith, and ensures that are aligned to Cintra US short and long-term strategic goals:
    • Organization and personnel resources
    • Reporting
    • OPEX/CAPEX Model
    • Risk Management
    • Revenue Assurance
  • Coordinates with management and subject matter experts in the existing concessions to ensure that established policies and procedures fulfill their operational needs and, if they do not, partner with the concessions to design a common set of procedures that does fit their needs.
  • Analyzes ITS and toll operations to identify and determine Key Performance Indicators that will measure level of success. 
  • Benchmarks the concessions accordingly to the standard set of Key Performance Indicators included in the Balance Scorecard to evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures, initiate enhancements as identified.
  • Enables and supports the concessionaires when applying for a total quality certification program.
  • Identifies, develops and documents key business processes related to toll operations with stakeholders, such as the Texas/North Carolina/Virginia Department of Transportations, North Texas Tolling Authority, Ferrovial Systems and Cintra Toll Services, during system development and operations and maintenance phases
  • Researches and analyzes basic and complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of the tolling operations at current project sites
  • Writes technical documents outlining processes in detail in order to parallel the tolling operations amongst the concession companies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
 
What You Bring to the Table:
You’ve worked hard to achieve success in your educational career, now put it to use. If you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Science, you are half way there with the abilities needed for this position. Have you been working for at least 3 years within any of the following areas or combination of the following areas: Process development, Project Management, Share Services Organizations and Balance Scorecard? If the answer is yes, you can check off another box. Experience with all electronic tolling and ITS operations would serve you well. Concept of operations with regards to ANSI-AIAA-G-043 and total quality certification process with regards to ISO9001:2000 is preferred. Finally, experience with customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resources planning (ERP) and financial software packages would be the cherry on top.

Our Working Environment:
Cintra wants to ensure that all employees are comfortable and able to work in the type of culture and environment we have built our business on. Our office is typically quiet with low noise levels; however, you will often hear employees laughing and talking amongst themselves. Effective communication will be key for this role and will require you to talk and hear others. You will probably spend a majority of your time sitting and/or walking around the office, whether to visit a co-worker or make it to a meeting on time. There also may occasionally be long hours to put in if you are diligently working to complete a project or finish a report.  There could be a time when you may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, but not very often. Finally, there may be some light travel involved with this role (domestic and international)!
