JOB SUMMARY:  

The Intermediate Business Analyst will be involved in the analysis, design, testing and implementation of new IT systems, including custom development where required.   Most of the time the customer of the Intermediate Business Analyst will be internal, on some occasion there will be some partner interactions required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Working with business leads, SME’s and key end users to assist in defining and documenting new and existing business processes and systems.
  • Conduct impact analysis and gap identification for new solutions and system needs.
  • Evaluating new IT development and evolving business requirements and recommending appropriate solutions and/or enhancements to current systems.
  • Conducting Requirement Gathering sessions with stakeholders.
  • Responsible for eliciting, documenting, and refining high level as well as detailed Business Requirements.
  • Creating supporting requirements artifacts deliverables such as Business Process flows, System Interaction diagrams, Use Case diagrams, to meet development and stakeholder need.
  • Working with the Development team to convey functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Participating in design sessions to flush out user and technical requirements for the solution.
  • Developing new reporting and web processes.
  • Documenting and testing on new systems implemented.
  • Preparing training materials on new systems implemented.
  • Conducting Implementation and training sessions as required.
  • Work with IT Project Manager and IT Manager to define sprints priorities


EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • A Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Business.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional or similar training preferred.
  • Three to five years business analysis experience.
  • Strong knowledge and skill in using Office and Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience with business application implementation and development.
  • Experience with Business IT / ERP systems.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and F&O.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflict.
  • Ability to understand delegated objectives.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as DevOps, MS Teams, etc.
  • Proficient in Business process decomposition and design specifically Vision with BPMN.
  • Proficient in functional decomposition and scoping of systems development projects.
  • Proficient in story writing and requirements definition.
  • Familiarity with QA testing practices.
  • Strong understanding of how information is managed in various business contexts.
  • Strong understanding of the design process and software development life cycle.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A desire to take ownership of work to be completed.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Extremely organized with files, communication, and documentation
  • Quick learner and desire to learn
