Responsibilities of a Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant at B Street Collision
  • Documenting and recording various types of financial transactions
  • Process and track payroll data for multiple legal entities
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with auditing financial transactions and documents
  • Notifying senior staff of any accounting errors
  • Maintain and enforce financial data integrity & confidentiality
  • Multitasking and prioritizing tasks in order to meet numerous deadlines

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • BS degree or (or anticipated BS degree) in Accounting, Finance or Business Admin
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferred
  • Previous experience with payroll processing preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Required Skills
  • Proficient in Excel & Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently & effective at time management
  • Organized & detail oriented
  • Must be able to work under a fast paced changing environment
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to operate a dual computer screen
