Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Use work instructions, schematics, blueprints, wiring lists, parts lists, and verbal and written instructions to assemble, build, modify or reassemble advanced/complex small parts assemblies and mechanical subassemblies requiring extreme precision
- Advanced soldering skills for complex tasks including but not limited to soldering wire harnesses
- Accurately perform final inspection
- Efficiently perform inventory management and cycle counts, resolving any problems that arise
- Proficient at all tasks for entire assembly team product line
- Train Assembler 1 and 2 employees
- Actively suggest ideas for process improvements and cost savings (improve time, reduce waste, etc.)
- Follow all environmental health and safety policies and procedures, models safe work practices
- Responsible for contributing to and supporting a positive and respectful workplace environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of complex assembly experience, preferably in aerospace, required
- Demonstrated proficiency with advanced soldering of small parts/components
- Use of hand tools and experience with assembling from schematics
- Strong software competence and proficient in use Office Suite
- Strong focus and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong focus on customer service
- Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills
