A Day-in-the-life for this role:
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, manual, and electrical systems
  • Design and fabricate solutions to problems. Machining, welding, and metal fabrication skills a plus.
  • Maintain machine coolant, waylube and chip bins
  • Complete facility inspections and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Willing and able to learn new skills and be open to modern maintenance techniques
  • Operate scissor lifts and forklift.
  • Complete projects from start to finish
  • Searching for and procure supplies and tools
  • Create and complete work orders and PM’s in Emaintenance program with high level of detail and communication
  • Find and read machine diagrams & manuals.
  • Communicate effectively over the phone to diagnose issues.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing systems
  • Other duties related to facility maintenance and Environmental Health and Safety tasks  
  • Provide excellent service to internal customers and professional interactions with external vendors
Experience you will bring to the role:
  • High School Diploma or Equiv.
  • 5+ year’s industry experience as millwright/mechanic or formal training in maintenance/engineering related fields. Open to Technical school certifications or bachelor’s degrees in related fields. 
  • Experience with mechanical systems, specifically CNC machines.
  • Strong focus and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and written
  • Ability to listen and follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to learn new computer software
  • Excellent physical awareness of surrounding environment and dangers
  • Strong Mechanical and troubleshooting skills

The target wage/salary range for this role is $25/hr.- $40/hr., depending on education and experience.
