Our team is searching for a Test Engineer with the diagnostic skills and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help position our company for new growth and improved social responsibility. In this role, you will be familiar with, and support testing equipment for the production floor to ensure they are working correctly and you will utilize your knowledge to perform the tasks associated with product development and process improvement.  Our engineers will possess the ability to own the life-cycle of a project from beginning to end with supervision, and have a passion for supporting the needs of the manufacturing operation. Aerospace experience is a plus!

Your primary responsibilities will be:
  • Support the build, test and troubleshoot breadboards and prototypes
  • Check and verify the correctness of all documents associated with a product
  • Help to write reports concerning development and test results
  • Develop and Perform environmental tests
  • Evaluate circuit performance and testing procedures
  • Derive, test and document corrective actions necessary to solve problems
  • Provide training to production test to familiarize them with test procedures and product performance
  • Participate in improving manufacturing operations
  • Design and build testers if required
  • Support customers with installation and operation of new products if necessary
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Graduate of Electronic Technical School
  • 0-2 years’ experience in electronics repair or testing
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering environment
Experience is a plus!
  • Ability to work with electronic test equipment and read schematics
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge and experience in a professional business environment
  • Better than average written and spoken communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship skills
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Experience with Visual Basic, C, C# are ideal.
  • Strong focus and attention to detail
  • Time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task in complex business and manufacturing environments
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills

The target salary range for this opportunity is $80,000 to $100,000, depending upon a mix of education and experience.
