PCB Designer 3, Electrical

You will be working in the Engineering team, supporting our Audio and Airborne Electronics products developments. Your primary responsibilities will be:
  • Design complex Printed Circuit Board layouts, revise existing PCB designs, maintain and update CAD library symbols, to create highly complex circuit card assemblies for aerospace applications, incorporating corporate best practice for fabrication, assembly and test
  • Work closely with electrical and mechanical hardware design engineers to define and implement PCB routing and manufacturability constraints.
  • Generate and release the engineering build documentation required to fabricate the PCB designs.

And you will have:
  • An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree or higher and / or  demonstrated experience and proficiency in PCB Design, a plus is IPC Certified Interconnect Designer
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in digital and analog electrical hardware PCB design, with at least 4 years experience in aerospace or space industries
  • Experience with design of PCBs that meet DO-160 environmental requirements
  • Knowledge of and application experience of IPC standards for PCBs
  • Knowledge of and application of design assembly and fabrication rules to prepare PCB designs
  • Proficiency with use of DxDesigner schematic capture tool; Altium Designer and the Altium Nexus environment and PADS PCB layout tools are a plus.
  • Great interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate across functional groups and represent the company with professionalism to our customers

  • IPC Certified Interconnect Designer completed
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer and the Altium Nexus environment and PADS PCB layout
  • 3D mechanical design experience
  • Experience with the following design tools:  Agile PLM, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, Solid Works
  • Knowledge of the latest developments in the industry

The salary range for this role depends on level and experience.
