You will be working in the Engineering team, supporting our Audio and Airborne Electronics products developments.  As an Electronic Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for analysis, requirement definition, design, test and verification, integration and troubleshooting of complex electronic hardware systems, including certification.  As a Senior Engineer, you will be leading development projects, including schedule and cost performance, and provide engineering mentorship.

Your primary responsibilities will be:
  • Lead Hardware Design electronic circuits developments for our audio systems, including overseeing airborne electronic hardware device full life cycle development, from conception to certification
  • Define systems and electrical requirements for new design or updated designs
  • Develop detailed performance specifications
  • Perform preliminary and detailed design activities - including block diagrams, trade off studies and design reviews, schematic capture, design analysis, prototype tests, and design reviews.
  • Develop equipment to support integration test and documentation for certification
  • Provide troubleshooting support to New Product Introduction manufacturing
  • Lead all project phases from planning to execution and certification
  • Lead design reviews
  • Oversee efforts of and mentor less experienced engineers
  • Work with internal and external customers

And you will have
  • B S. in Aerospace/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering
  • 7+ years’s experience in hardware electrical design
  • Experience with avionics or audio aircraft subsystems
  • Demonstrated experience or credentials (PMP) in project execution and completion
  • An entrepreneurial spirit (proactive, resourceful, highly motivated with good communication skills)
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and design trade-offs
  • Solve complex problems with minimal supervision and tight schedules
  • Experience with simulation software
  • Experience in showing compliance in accordance with FAA regulations associated with Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH)
  • Strong understanding of Do-254 and ARP 4754A

The salary range for this role is $110k-$145k, depending on experience.
