Role Summary
Join our team as a Banquet Bartender for Solage, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by selling, preparing and dispensing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. To serve the highest quality of food and beverage to the guest in a courteous manner.
Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

Be thoroughly familiar with beverage and wine.

Be familiar with and follow all standard of beverage recipes and adhere to the established pour policy without deviations.

Minors and intoxicated persons are not to be served. Operate within full compliance of state liquor laws and regulations. Be thoroughly familiar with DWI prevention procedures and techniques.

Must adhere to and enforce all control systems:
-
All liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages must be prechecked prior to serving when not a hosted function and all charges going to the master account.

Follow established requisitioning procedures for the banquet bar set up.

Bar areas are to be properly secured and locked at the end of the shift.

Set up banquet bars utilizing banquet beverage requisition for assigned function per BEO
-
Prepare fruit (garnish) tray and make sure the bar has all mixers and equipment such as pourers, strainer, shaker, etc. to prepare drinks properly.

At the end of the function return stock counts for all beverages
-
Be accountable for all bars counts hosted by drink tickets.

Clean banquet bar and equipment at the end of the function before returning them to the storage area.

Never leave the bar unattended and always maintain a professional posture.

Bartenders must be familiar with and follow beverage recipes.

Always friendly and courteous to guests and fellow team members always

All Resort policies, food & beverage policies, and liquor laws are complied with

Maintain the following quality levels:

Glassware is spotlessly clean
-
Beverage items are properly prepared and served at correct temperature
-
Attend to needs and listen to guests; take whatever action necessary to ensure guest’s satisfaction.

Keep bar area clean and always organized.
-
Report for work on time, properly groomed and in correct uniform.

Skills & Abilities

Ability to read and write constructively in the English language.

Bi-lingual ability in Spanish strongly suggested
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
Physical Demands
- Must have the ability to move/maneuver in an (add department) environment.

Ability to lift 50 pounds with ease, 75 pounds occasionally and higher weights as needed to accomplish guest service

Walking, standing, stooping, squatting, bending or other types of physical movement, sometimes for more than one hour.

Interior of the Resort, in all areas.

Exterior of Resort with exposure to weather conditions, occasional exposure to rain, cold or hot temperatures

Exposure to various chemicals, some hazardous
