Banquet Server | On Call (Calistoga, CA)

Role Summary
Join our team as a Banquet Server for Solage, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by serving food and beverages to guests at venues or catering events and always ensuring friendly guest service and to maintain a clean professional top quality at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• As the Banquet Server it will be your role to provide exceptional service to all our guests and members of the Resort

• Anticipate guest needs and create a strong guest relationship

• Prior experience setting buffets, serving plated dinner as well as Family style events.

• Calm - able to always give assistance to guests and fellow team members in an upbeat atmosphere with a smile and patient attitude.

• Ability to remember, explained all food items to our guest.

• Ability to follow instructions and/or direction by the management and or by fellow associates

• Ensure constant organization and cleanliness of both the front of house and heart of house

• Ensures supplies are prepared for beverage service.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.

• Must be familiar with all policies related to liquor liability laws.

• Must work with Banquet Bartender in a courteous manner to achieve guest experiences.

• Maintain an awareness of all functions, events and meetings taking place at any given time.

Skills & Abilities

• Bi-lingual ability in Spanish preferred

Required Qualifications

• 2 years Serving experience, preferred

Physical Demands

• Must have the ability to move/maneuver in a banquet environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with ease, 75 pounds occasionally and higher weights as needed to
• accomplish guest service
• Walking, standing, stooping, squatting, bending or other types of physical movement, sometimes for more than one hour.
• Exterior of Resort with exposure to weather conditions, occasional exposure to rain, cold or hot temperatures
• Exposure to various chemicals, some hazardous
• Exposure to food & beverage items
