About Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection
Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection, redefines “fun” in the heart of California wine country with 100 design-focused and environmentally conscious studios, each featuring complimentary cruiser bicycles for guests use and a 130-foot landmark swimming pool. Role Summary
The Learning Manager will oversee and conduct training experiences that are already implemented in the Auberge Resorts Collection and create/source new training material.  The Learning Manager will work closely with all departments to identify training and development needs and will manage tracking and scheduling of all learning and development initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates. Within this, some of the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Create and/or conduct training programs that are aligned with Solage/ Auberge Resorts Collection’s objectives:

    • Departmental Standards:  Sequence of Service

    • ENRICH Cultural Values

    • Onboarding

    • Manager Development Program

    • Administer and track Compliance Training: Safe Beverage Service, Safe Food Handling, Anti Harassment, IT, CCPA, First Aid, CPR

    • Source Safety Training 

    • Identify supplemental training opportunities for individual team members

    • Other initiatives as identified by the leadership team

  • Administer already existing training programs working with the Director of Learning & Development to design and communicate training in line with Auberge Resorts Collection standards 

  • Act as Ambassador of the culture of Auberge’s ENRICH culture

  • Manage the annual mandatory training calendar ensuring full completion within targeted timelines and provide timely and accurate updates to department leaders

  • Maintain accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities including; recording and monitoring attendance, ensuring that staff required to attend specific workshops are easily identified and followed up

  • Liaise with all department leaders and have a full understanding of their teams and training requirements 

  • Embrace different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions, or coaching

  • Act as Member of the Safety Committee and provide training materials for weekly safety training rallies, oversee the MIPP program and Assist with Ergonomic Training

  • Continually update all training to ensure adherence to all state and federal requirements

  • Assist with miscellaneous HR functions, as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Learning and Development, preferably in luxury hotel setting

  • Prior experience in content development

  • Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communications skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and people-facing skills  

  • Evidence of strong administrative and organizational skills 

  • Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task effectively while considering future organizational requirements

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while retaining a strong eye for detail

  • Ability to work appropriately with highly confidential information  

  • Hotel and/or Hospitality operations experience (preferred)

  • Bi-Lingual (a plus)
