A century ago, Calistoga was a town centered around its bubbling natural hot springs and the beautiful weather of the Napa Valley. Today, it’s a bucket-list destination for ardent wine lovers, foodies and wellness seekers for its particularly enviable version of the “good life.” Solage was created to reflect its hometown spirit, drawing visitors as well as area vintners who come here after a day in the vineyards to relax over a glass of wine or a craft cocktail and connect.

Role Summary
The Accounting Department supports hotel operations through accounts payable, group and event billing, member billing, cashiering, and reporting.  The Accounting Clerk performs a variety of tasks and assists all roles on the accounting team (A/R, A/P, Cashier).  Special projects may also be assigned.  Room for growth and professional development.

Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates.   Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Assists with guest and membership billing
  • Assists Accounts Payable 
  • Assists to reconcile Cash Daily Deposits and Variance Tracking
  • Performs tracking and deposits
  • Assist with researching credit card company inquiries
  • Assist with guest and member charge disputes
  • Assist with journal entries as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school Diploma

  • Degree or degree in progress in accounting or business is a plus

  • Strong verbal and written skills in business English

  • Foundational Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Flexibility to work on different accounting teams, tasks and projects
