Role Summary

Currently we seek a Spa Supervisor with excellent customer service skills and luxury spa experience to work in a fast-paced spa environment. Must be able to work weekends/weekdays including holidays.

Core Responsibilities

Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates.  Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Ensure smooth flow of spa operations by creating a weekly schedule for the Spa Attendant and Bathhouse teams.

  • Maintaining a harmonious work environment by leading as a calm and gracious example.

  • Preparing/maintaining guest areas: 5 outdoor bathhouse pools, treatment rooms, fitness center, motion studio, locker rooms and waiting room to meet our standards and protocols.

  • Welcome guests to the spa, providing professional tours.

  • Execute a weekly inventory and order; cleaning supplies, professional body care products, food & beverage ingredients and operating supplies.

  • Work directly with Spa Manager and Lead Spa Attendant to communicate any changes, and update protocols when necessary.

  • Oversee Food and Beverage operations, Retail Sales and Inventory Management.

  • Ensure that all spa equipment operate at optimum performance 

  • Assist in creating protocols, training manuals and training schedule 

  • Provide regular communication of company information, functions, benefits, events, etc. with spa staff on regular basis 

  • Participate in monthly staff meetings 

  • Create, maintain and update MSDS information 

  • Prepare daily check-out/closing report 

  • Monitor employee's performance to ensure quality, standards, and efficient, friendly service to ensure established service levels are consistently achieved in compliance with hotel standards 

  • Effectively document, facilitate and recover guest issues and complaints 

  • Responsible for the health and safety of guests, employees and members in the Spa and adhere to policies and procedures. 

  • Ensure that good practices are applied to all issues in relation to employees and in conjunction with the HR Department, to assure that all property policies and procedures are followed. 

  • Provide an effective structure for communication within the Spa at all levels. 

  • Complete any other job duties assigned 

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, personal care industry or pool service position in a luxury resort environment. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with an outgoing team within a large department. 

  • Possess excellent communication style. 

  • Have a real "heart for hospitality" personality.

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication and team building skills 

  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision 

  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas 

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
