Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection, redefines “fun” in the heart of California wine country with 89 design-focused and environmentally conscious studios, each featuring complimentary cruiser bicycles for guests use and a 130-foot landmark swimming pool. Role Summary
The Front Office Supervisor acts as an ambassador for Solage. The Front Office Supervisor ensures that all day-to-day department operations are seamless in order to provide exceptional guest experiences.  The Front Office Supervisor is the face of the resort during the guest stay.

Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Supports the Front Office Team to ensure exceptional guest experience. 

  • Supports all areas of the Front Office in the absence of the Front Office Manager.

  • Executes and supervises day-to-day operations and team, and ensures the team is set up for success.

  • Performs and supervises Guest Arrival and Departure Experiences, guest billing, staff scheduling and concierge work.

  • Address guest concerns

  • Understands the impact of Front Office operations on the overall guest experience and on property financial goals and objectives.

  • Understands the functions of the Bell Staff, PBX, and Concierge.

  • Participates in department/property meetings and ensures that Front Office team is updated as to property events and  happenings.

  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.

  • Encourages and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

  • Acts as safety ambassador.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or similar; 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area.

  • Previous luxury hotel experience a plus.

  • Ability to communicate in business English (verbal and written) with guests/team members.

  • Adhere to responsible, safe, and conscientious driving rules.

  • Prioritize, organize and make good judgments.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes overnights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to be a clear thinker and remain calm under pressure.

  • Ability to work cohesively with other departments and individuals as part of a team.
