Role Summary
Join our team as Marketing Coordinator and become one of the authors of our story.  The Marketing Coordinator is a key role to the success of the hotel as we continue to elevate our marketing. This role requires a foundational understanding of social media and an eye for design and an understanding of a luxury aesthetic. This role will maintain a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and is a self-starting team player that’s creative, innovative, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to implement change and the latest thinking in marketing, social media, and partnerships. This role reports to the Director of Area Marketing  and will support the following properties: Solage, Stanly Ranch & The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern.

Core Responsibilities

  • Social Media & PR

    • Works closely with the Area Director of Marketing to execute a social media strategy for 3 California properties. 

    • Responsible for the day to day social media management for the 3 California hotels

    • Daily posting on social media channels, works with regional director to review plans/copy/imagery

    • Works alongside other key roles within the organization and guides on-site property managers to generate content that aligns with the brand’s social media strategy, and speaks to a luxury consumer 

    • Support the PR agency with reservations and itineraries for influencers and press visits.

  • Marketing Partnerships 

    • Supports Area Director of Marketing with the ideation and strategic implementation of creative and on-brand partnerships designed to elevate properties

    • Coordinates on-site events and activities for each property

  • Asset Management 

    • Hotel Quick Facts: Maintains an always current repository of hotel key facts / assets, Photo/Video selects, ARC Promotional Calendar / Lead offer(s), Key Messaging / Positioning / Journey Maps, Seasonal need periods / demand trends, Key contacts, Link to digital budgets / plans

    • Digital Asset Management: Maintains and updates photo and video library in accordance with our central process for the hotel & assets are all labeled in a meaningful, findable manner

  • Website 

    • Responsible for the maintenance of website marketing materials and other property updates. 

    • Updates new experiences and blog posts to the website; Maintain calendars, activities, dining menus, spa menus, and other events; Reviews for accuracy on a consistent basis; Promotes key offers/events; Seasonal content/imagery updates

  • Marketing 

    • Supports digital marketing activation with the following functions: 

      • Maintains email marketing calendar 

      • Manages the print marketing material needs for each property, including Food & Beverage collateral / Spa collateral / Property Collateral / Promotional Materials

      • Manages the production of digital marketing creative asset development  

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in luxury or design space with experience in or an interest in social media management and marketing 

  • Strong understanding of a luxury brand and aesthetic 

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently  

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teams

  • Mobile and social media/community experience an asset
