Join our team as a Food Runner for Picobar & the Pool at Solage, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring guest satisfaction as well as providing excellent service.
The Food Runner is responsible for setting up and maintaining designated areas of the kitchen and restaurant and delivering all food related items to the guests.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
Delivering plates to guests in a gracious manner.
Knowledgeable of the menu and able to answer guests' questions, explain the dishes.
Assisting in the polishing of silver and glassware.
Assisting in the clearing of guest's plates when completed.
Conveying desired information as requested by the kitchen expeditor.
Ideal candidates will have fine dining restaurant etiquette, have worked in high volume establishments, are comfortable speaking to small and medium sized groups, perform well under pressure, and are looking to advance in the food and beverage/hospitality industry. Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must have a flexible work schedule as well and work holidays.
