The Cordova Casino in Rancho Cordova, CA. is looking for a Casino Manager to help manage operations in the Casino and Restaurant outlet for his/her assigned shift.

The duties listed below include but are not limited to:

• Ensure that table games are run in a manner that exemplifies the company's core values, meets established
quality standards and is in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
• Keep a high profile on the gaming floor area, greet guests, and resolve all guest complaints in a timely
manner.
• Maintain Dealer rotation and adhere to State and Federal regulations regarding rest and meal breaks for all
Team Members
• Utilize technology systems to maximize efficiency in the Table Games Department.
• Keep podium balanced; keep an accurate shift report, time off and sick reports, overtime logs and other
reports, as deemed necessary.
• Serve as Manager – On - Duty for Food & Beverage and Casino ensuring proper staffing level on assigned
shift.
• Ensure food quality and service.
• Understand food costs and make recommendations.
• Assist in monitoring the payouts on the tables to ensure proper amounts are being paid to customers.
• Work closely with the Security Department in warning or ejecting persons from the Casino who are causing
a disturbance and may call Rancho Cordova Police for assistance.
• Responsible to work in conjunction with Department Managers and General Manager in the supervision of
personnel and efficient operation of the facilities during an assigned shift. Monitor employee personnel
activities and take appropriate actions with the appropriate management of personnel in support of efficient
operations.
• Ensure professional behavior and appearances of all Casino staff
• Resolve customer and employee disputes that may arise and settle disputes in a manner that expresses
excellent customer service as well as ensuring the best interest of the operation is considered at all times.
• Initiate investigations to resolve urgent issues, including guest disputes and complaints, Team Member
issues, etc.
• Maintain a high standard of guest service within the Casino and actively promote positive customer and
employee relations by walking the Casino floor and ensuring excellent customer service is continually
provided.
• Prepare weekly schedules for all Team Members.
• Hire and manage assigned Team Members and use resources in a respectful and fiscally responsible
manner.
• Ensure that employees have the proper tools and training to effectively and safely perform their jobs. Plan
and facilitate training programs.
• Prepare and deliver performance evaluations and documentation on a periodic basis for all Team Members.
• Prepare and update Policies and Procedures for all departments to ensure and maintain compliance with
state and federal regulations.
• Assist with the execution of marketing promotions and activities in support of guest service.
• Ensure the casino facility presents a professional and clean environment for both employees and guests.
• Implement emergency action plans of the operation.
• Ensure professional behavior and appearance of all casino staff in accordance with established standards.
• Compile, review and analyze reports to maximize efficiency and profitability in all departments. Safeguard
company assets at all times.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in management, hospitality services, business administration or other field related to Gaming preferred.

Experience: Previous management experience required, including responsibility for Team Member morale. Three years' experience in the Gaming industry desired.

Qualifications:
• Must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check, credit, and drug test
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee license
• Must possess a detailed knowledge of all games operated at the Casino
• Skilled problem solver.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
