Position Overview:
Profeta Painting is seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Painting Intern to join our team. This internship is designed for individuals interested in learning the painting trade and gaining hands-on experience in commercial and industrial environments.

As an intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning surface preparation, coating application, and job site safety while contributing to real projects.

• Assist with surface preparation including sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
• Learn to apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Gain experience working in commercial settings such as offices, warehouses, and retail spaces
• Understand proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and industry best practices
• Support team members in completing projects on time and to quality standards
• Maintain clean and organized job sites

• Interest in construction, painting, or skilled trades
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting 50+ lbs
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders and lifts)
• Valid driver’s license and transportation preferred

• Basic experience with hand tools or general labor
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a trade, technical, or vocational program

• Paid, hands-on internship experience
